September 29 we (Club "Friends of the Emerald City") celebrated the seventy-year anniversary of the book "The Wizard of Emerald City" (1939; with Vladimirsky's illustrations - 1959). This year, fans of Oz also celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the movie "The Wizard of Oz" (MGM, 1939).
